Kuvajmo is in closed testing · invite-only for now

Home-cooked food from your neighbours, not from an app.

Someone in your area is already cooking dinner for their household. They make a few extra portions, you reserve yours, take part in the cost of preparing it and pick it up directly from the cook. No couriers, no commission, no waste.

  • Always free
  • No commission
  • Pickup only

How it works

Three steps. No restaurant menu, no delivery bag.

  1. A cook posts an offer

Someone cooking dinner for their own household adds a few extra portions: what it is, what's in it, all 14 allergens, and roughly how many calories.

  2. Neighbours reserve ahead of time

You reserve before the reservation cutoff, so the cook gets in exactly what's needed. Nothing is wasted, nothing is guessed.

  3. You pick it up, in your own container

During the pickup window, collect the food and give the cook the contribution directly, in cash or by sending it through IPS. IPS is Serbia's instant payment system: it needs an account in a Serbian bank and a bank app that scans the QR code. Anywhere else, cash. You bring your own container by default.

What it looks like

Real screens from the app, with sample data.

  1. The discover screen of the Kuvajmo app: filters for day and meal, and a card for home-cooked beef goulash shared nearby, with the distance and pickup time.

    Food nearby

What your neighbours are sharing today, by day, meal and distance.

  2. An offer in the Kuvajmo app: beef goulash, the cook, the pickup time and area, and a bar with the contribution and a Reserve button.

    The offer

The dish, the cook, ingredients and contribution, before you reserve.

  3. A confirmed order in the Kuvajmo app: the dish and the cook, the order code, a status timeline, the pickup time and the pickup address.

    Reservation

The order, its status, the pickup time and the address, on one screen.

  4. A chat with the cook about an order in the Kuvajmo app: the dish at the top, a short exchange about picking it up, and a message field.

    Chat with the cook

A chat about your order, to agree on the last details.

  5. The Cook tab of the Kuvajmo app: the kitchen open for orders, an order waiting for an answer with Decline and Accept buttons, and the cook’s offers.

    The cook's kitchen

Cooks answer orders and see their offers in one place.

Kuvajmo is in closed testing. Soon on iPhone and Android. The screens show demo data and may change.

Who Kuvajmo is for

One account: cook, eater or both.

If you don't cook every day

  • Real home cooking from your area, with no delivery and no restaurant menu.
  • Reserve ahead and pick up your food at the agreed time, in your own container.
  • You can ask the cook a question before you reserve.

If you cook

  • You're cooking for your household anyway: make a few portions more.
  • You choose the pickup window, the reservation cutoff and the number of portions.
  • You receive the contribution towards the costs directly from your neighbour, with no middleman.

If you care what you eat

  • Ingredients, all 14 allergens, preparation and calories are visible before you reserve.
  • Save the allergens you avoid, and offers that contain them are hidden or clearly marked.
  • The cook describes their kitchen too, not just the dish.

Honest food, always

For every dish on Kuvajmo, the cook states what's really in it, before you reserve a portion.

All 14 EU allergens, every time

A dish can't be posted until the cook has marked every one of the 14 EU-listed allergens as contains, may contain, or not present. Nothing is left blank.

  • Cereals with gluten
  • Crustaceans
  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Peanuts
  • Soybeans
  • Milk
  • Tree nuts
  • Celery
  • Mustard
  • Sesame
  • Sulphur dioxide and sulphites
  • Lupin
  • Molluscs

A kitchen declaration, not just a dish

Every cook also describes their kitchen once: allergens regularly used in the household, pets, and anything else worth knowing. It's shown on every offer they post.

The cook's own estimate

Calories, and often protein, carbs, fat and fibre, written by the cook who made the dish. It is never measured in a lab, never guessed by an algorithm, always shown as an estimate.

This food is made in a home kitchen. Cooks declare allergens in good faith, but cross-contact can never be fully ruled out.

Trust is not given in advance

You can leave a review only after a real exchange, so a profile shows what actually happened.

  • Reviews after every exchange

After pickup, the cook and the eater rate each other, positive or negative, with a comment. No reservation, no review.

  • The cook's hygiene habits

Cooks tick a short list of good kitchen practices (washing hands, keeping raw meat separate, a fridge below 5°C), shown on their profile as their own declaration.

  • Kitchen photos, if the cook adds them

An optional look at where your food is made.

Exchange, not a purchase

Neighbours share food and the cost of preparing it.

A cook prepares a meal for their household and makes a few extra portions. Neighbours take part in the cost of preparing it: ingredients, energy and packaging. The cook sets the contribution per portion, and you see it before you reserve. You pick the food up directly from the cook.

Kuvajmo does not sell food, takes no commission and never touches money.

First, a small circle

Kuvajmo is opening gradually, through people you trust.

Every account gets three invite codes. If someone you know already uses Kuvajmo, ask them for one, and once you are in, invite neighbours you trust.

The iPhone and Android apps are coming soon to the App Store and Google Play.

No sign-up form here: invites travel from person to person, the same way the food does.

Frequently asked

Is Kuvajmo really free?

Yes. Kuvajmo takes no commission, no fees and no subscription, from cooks or from eaters. The contribution goes directly from you to the cook.

How do I give the cook their contribution?

In cash at pickup, or by sending it through IPS, scanning the cook's QR code. IPS is Serbia's instant payment system: it needs an account in a Serbian bank and a bank app that scans the QR code. Anywhere else, cash. Kuvajmo never touches the money.

What if I have a food allergy?

For every dish, the cook states all 14 EU allergens before you can reserve it, and you can save the allergens you must avoid so offers that contain them are hidden or clearly flagged.

Do I need my own container?

By default, yes. Bring a clean container when you come to collect your food. Some cooks also offer a returnable container of their own, or a clearly marked disposable one.

How do I get an invite code?

Ask a friend, neighbour or colleague who already uses Kuvajmo: every account gets three invite codes.

Is Kuvajmo a food delivery business?

No. There are no couriers and no delivery fleet. Cooks are people sharing extra portions of food they're already making for their own household, not a restaurant. The goal is that people use delivery apps less, not use Kuvajmo more.

What is the contribution?

The contribution is your share of the cost of preparing it, set by the cook. You're not buying a portion. You're taking part in the cost of preparing it, together with the cook who cooked it for themselves and for you. It's an exchange between neighbours, not a sale.
